Located in the historic district Teusaquillo of Bogota
Built in 1933 as a private home in Bogota, the bed and breakfast features seven unique rooms. Each room was restored with the intent of keeping its original aesthetic charm while giving it a touch of contemporary design. The real difference between our bed and breakfast and a hotel is the size of the accommodation, a cozy house with all the comfort you may need while traveling. Our commitment is to give the best of us in a genuine and direct way -we serve our guests. We are located in two main corridors. Eight layers of sound prof glass, curtains and panels block out most of the noise from the street. El Dorado airport is 20 minutes away from our bed and breakfast, but this depends on traffic. We are not too far from the historic center of Bogota, La Candelaria neighborhood. The virtual tour will give you an idea of how this type of small hotel, bed and breakfast type, is set for your satisfaction.
Room I boasts a beautiful blend between old and new in its design with its beautiful, all glass European open glass bathroom.
Your destination is within the historic bohemian Teusaquillo neighbourhood (Teusaquillo lo tiene todo), just blocks from the Parkway’s dining and nightlife. A peaceful park is just across the street. You’re a 40-minute walk from the Museo del Oro (Gold museum) or the famous Paloquemao farmers’ market, just a 7-minute stroll from a French bakery with the best baguettes in town, close to the Bogotá’s famous colonial area La Candelaria and three blocks away from Bogota’s mass transit system station Transmilenio.
Here we provide self service purified water (cold and hot), ice machine, some of Colombia’s best coffee, Colombian fruits, and assorted teas. We want you to have the pleasure of having a nice cup of coffee mostly at any time (between 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.) or our very famous coca tea. This tea is said to be good for the altitude sickness. Also there is bananas, granadillas, pitayas for you to delight at our coffee station.
All of our rooms offer hand crafted furniture, modern fully equipped bathrooms, eight layer soundproof windows, therapeutic beds with extra pillows, HighSpeed internet (25Mb), Smart TVs & international Cable channels and universal power-adapters. The house has security systems and we provide 24-hour staffing to ensure your comfort and safety.

“Our stay at the Bogotá Bed and Breakfast was possibly our best lodging experience ever. This statement doesn’t come lightly as our travel history extends to over 150 countries. My son and I stayed there for 3 days in November enroute to the Brazilian Amazon and had such a unique experience that we rerouted our trip home, back through Bogotá, just to stay with them again. Previous reviews have adequately described the property as a painstaking and heartfelt restoration of a beautiful historic building. That being said one could not overstate the hospitality and warmth of Beatriz and Rick. They are 100% committed to both the property and the overall guest experience.”
