We can suggest you another One-Day in Bogota. You can start with a nice breakfast at our Bogota Bed and Breakfast INN: fresh squeezed orange juice and delicious Colombian fruits, and the rest… french toast, pandebono, home-made bread, and of course our great Colombian coffee. If the day is bright you can go up to Mount Monserrate. Always remember ask Beatriz for the right way to move on the city and for the maps. You can also check our page Travel Smart on bogbnb.com, there you will find important information Bogota Bed and Breakfast INN considers you should know.

The trip to Monserrate varies depending on the time and day you go. On week days is not too crowed. You can walk from our Bogota B&B INN to the Monserrate Station, it is a 40 minutes-walk. Ask Beatriz for the small map that describes the safe and short way to get to the station. You can also take a ride (Uber or a yellow cab, $8.000 COP average) You can use the funicular or the cable-cart to go up. The ride up is less than 8 minutes for those afraid to highs. The whole visit is about 2-3 hours depending on how long you want to hang out taking pictures and seeing the breathtaking views.

When you come down if you have data you can call an Uber, take a taxi by the Monserrate Station or come down walking using the same path on the small map Beatriz will give you. To have lunch Bogota Bed and Breakfast INN recommends Casa Vieja Restaurant at Avenida Jimenez, delicious Colombian food. We recommend this one because is close to where you are going to be visiting. After that you can walk heading towards Museo del Oro, Gold Museum. You can spend a good two-three hours there checking out all the richest art and gold our indigenous people had. You can go an have a nice coffee at the Centro Grabiel García Márquez (see http://www.fcecol.info/CCGGM), a modern structure design by the great Colombian architect Rogelio Salmona. It is a place for art and letters in general. The complex is 10.8000 square feet. After coffee you can head back to Bogota Bed and Breakfast INN, relax a little bit, and get ready for a nice night at La Zona Rosa, have dinner at Andres D.C. Or when at our B&B you can also go for a nice and quite dinner at Elbarrio restaurant. There you will meet Ivan, the owner. We are more than willing to walk you there and show you the Park Way.

We hope this day will work for you!
